Your older brother Kael knew the price the Veil would ask. When its tide rose to take you both, he stepped in front. Now his spirit echoes your path, half a heartbeat behind, fighting beside you through the dark.

Survive waves of hollow soldiers, sorcerers, and knights tearing through the Veil, and bring down the Hollow King before Kael's echo fades for good.

Theme: Big Brother

Kael is your big brother. He watches over you, mirrors your every move, and shields you from what you cannot see. You fight. He follows. In the end he gives everything he has left to keep you alive. The game is about that bond as much as it is about surviving the Veil.

How to Play

Controls

• WASD or Arrow Keys to move
• Space to trigger Echo Burst — Kael fires toward the nearest enemies (3 second cooldown)
• Kael follows your path automatically and releases shockwaves on his own cooldown

Pickups

Glowing pixel squares appear around the arena as you fight. Run into them to collect.

• B (blue) — Echo Burst cooldown comes down faster
• S (yellow) — Kael's shockwave fires more often
• R (green) — Kael's shockwave reaches further
• V (orange) — Kael's shots travel faster
• + (pink) — Restores one heart

Tips

• Kael echoes your position with a short delay, so keep moving to draw enemies into his shockwaves
• The Hollow King enters three phases as his health drops, watch for the color shift
• Survive 70 seconds to trigger the boss fight
